At our third workshop, we facilitated engaging connections between watershed coordinators and community groups.

Our third workshop took place at the fabulous Earvin “Magic” Johnson Recreation Area on July 29th, 2023. The workshop began with a tour of this facility, where we had the opportunity to delight with community members in the transformations that have taken place to result in such a beautiful and functional recreation area for our community.

UPPER LA RIVER: Carlos Moran, Kristina Kreter, Alonso Garcia
LOWER LA RIVER: Tara Dales

Our presenters shared valuable information about Measure W funds and potential projects and guidelines for our community members as they head into planning their own projects.
