Telecommuting is defined as reducing or removing commute trips as a result of working from home or another offsite location.
Remote services are defined as home-based non-travel alternatives such as e-commerce, distance learning, or telehealth.
The Del Amo Action Committee (DAAC) has teamed with CSU Dominguez Hills (CSUDH,
the study lead) to conduct a research study on transportation in our community using a short
questionnaire. The information will help us understand the transportation needs of our community
and allow CSUDH to compare our data to areas that have already been surveyed in California.
About the Questionnaire:
● We aim to complete 280 questionnaires from residents.
● The questionnaire takes about 20 minutes to complete.
● Your responses are anonymous and no sensitive information will be collected.
● If you’d like to share more, we will also offer focus groups.
● You can opt out at any time.
Your feedback will help DAAC‘s efforts to improve transportation in our community.
Who Can Participate:
You must be 18 years or older and meet at least one of the following:
● Employed (full‐time or part‐time)
● Shopped online in the past 12 months
● Used telehealth services in the past 12 months
Compensation for Participation:
● Participants who complete a questionnaire will earn a $30.00 stipend
● Questionnaire respondents who also participate in a focus group will be entered into a cash raffle
